Hyderabad: Former Congress leader Lagadapati Rajagopal, who shot to fame as Andhra Octopus, has finally broken his silence over the recent Assembly elections held in Telangana State and his poll predictions over the results. He admitted that his poll predictions proved wrong for the first time ever since he began to hold pre-poll surveys across the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajagopal asked the Election Commission officials what was preventing them from counting VVPATs. He said henceforth he would declare poll results only after completion of the elections and not before like he did in the Telangana Assembly elections. He also said he would hold pre-poll survey for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as well. (NSS)
