Land Dispute and Allegations of Unfairness: Minority Rights Questioned in Hyderabad

Allegations of unfairness and denial of rights to minorities have surfaced in Hyderabad, casting doubt on Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s claims to be working for their benefit.

Rega Kantha Rao, a BRS MLA from the Pinapaka constituency, is accused of stealing land from Mohammad Ibrahim, a former Naxalite and father of four girls. Despite the High Court’s verdict and authorities’ recognition that the land properly belongs to Ibrahim, the MLA is allegedly attempting to acquire four acres of land without paying reasonable compensation.

Ibrahim’s residence was apparently stolen at the request of the MLA, resulting in the loss of dowry goods, cash, and gold. Despite the fact that Ibrahim was granted ownership of his home by a court order, the MLA is allegedly disobeying the Collector, Tehsildar, and SP.

Rega Kantha Rao has shown no inclination to pay reparations, and Ibrahim’s requests for aid from Home Minister Mahmood Ali have been turned down. Ibrahim and his daughters are forced to spend the night at the bus terminal, emphasising their predicament.

These occurrences raise questions about Chief Minister KCR’s cognizance of the MLA’s activities, as well as Home Minister Mahmood Ali’s failure to deliver justice. The BRS has also been chastised for failing to handle the misbehaviour of its MLAs. Ibrahim requests protection and justice from Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao and KTR.

The government’s and concerned authorities’ response to Ibrahim’s call for justice and a fair resolution to the land conflict remains to be seen.
