Last batch of Haj pilgrims return

Hyderabad : With the arrival of the last chartered Haj flight with 308 Haj pilgrims from Madina in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, the 2019 Haj Season concluded successfully. As many as 8,280 pilgrims from Hyderabad Embarkation point returned safely after performing Haj and visiting the Tomb of Holy Prophet in Madina city.

Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan and Executive officer B. Shafiullah, IFS, received the Haj pilgrims at the Haj terminal and distributed five-liter Zam Zam cans among them. Abu Talha Amjad, M.A Shafi corporator,  Mohammed Arifuddin, members of Telangana State Haj Committee also received the Haj pilgrims and congratulated them on fulfilling their life-time desire of performing Haj.  Officers of various departments were also present on the occasion.

Altogether 8,319 Haj pilgrims had left for Haj pilgrimage from Hyderabad Embarkation Point. All the pilgrims arrived in 23 special Haj flights. Baggage of all the pilgrims also reached and handed over to the pilgrims.

The Haj Committee officials thanked Air India , Customs , Immigration, CISF, BCAS, GMR, Asra Hospital, Air Sats, volunteers, Haj committee staff and agencies for their cooperation for safe departure and arrival of the Haj pilgrims from Hyderabad Embarkation point. (NSS)
