Hyderabad: The State Kisan Congress leaders here on Sunday felicitated Maharashtra Congress leader and Assembly Speaker Patole in the city. AICC State in-charge SA Sampath Kumar, who is also the in-charge of Maharashtra, senior party leaders like V Hanumanth Rao, Ponnala Laxmaiah, Kodanda Reddy, MP Khan, and Anvesh Reddy took part in the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Patole said the economic condition of the country was very bad due to the faulty fiscal policies of the BJP-led government at the Centre and it was giving false figures. He said the GDP of the country was very poor. Alleging that there was no accountability for the BJP-led government, Patole alleged that the Centre was making anti-people laws. He also said it was not responding to the protest programs held by the people in the country. He demanded that the State government change the anti-people Acts immediately. He said he wanted to see the development of all sections of the society as dreamt by the author of the Constitution BR Ambedkar.
