On Wednesday, a bathroom cleaner at a private hospital was arrested for allegedly filming a video of a woman showering in the washroom.
The incident occurred on Monday at Renee Hospital, but it was only discovered on Wednesday when police apprehended the male cleaner and hauled him to court.

According to the media, the woman was admitted to the hospital as her father sought treatment. On Monday, while she was bathing in the hospital’s bathroom, the accused Arvind began photographing her through a hole in the wall that had been created to repair an exhaust fan.
When she realised someone was observing her from the hole, she quickly dressed and exited. She discovered the accused near the hole, talking on his phone. The woman sounded an alarm and filed a complaint against the offender once she caught him.
A dharna was held in front of the hospital by the victim’s family. The victim’s family complained to the media that the hospital management had taken no action against the perpetrators. They went to the police station and filed a complaint against the accused.

The accused has admitted his guilt, according to the police, and a case has been filed against him under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code, including section 354 (outraging a woman’s modesty), section 354-C, and section 67.
