Hyderabad: Tension prevailed at Fateh Darwaza in Hussaini Alam of old city when a businessman Sadeq Bin Mehfooz, opened fire two rounds in the air with his licensed .32 revolver following a dispute with his neighbour.
The incident happened around 6:00 pm on Tuesday, when Mehfooz, who has various business in the old city got-into an argument with his neighbour Omer over property issues.
“Mehfooz asked his neighbour Omer to leave three feet space between two buildings. Both had heated arguments over the issue following which in a fit of rage, Mehfooz who was carrying the weapon on him, took it out and fired two rounds. Omer was unhurt in the incident,” said inspector Hussaini Alam, Ramesh Kotwal.
A case was registered and the weapon was seized from Mehfooz.
