Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University’s newly elected Student Union for academic year 2018-19has taken charge today with oath taking ceremony. Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice-Chancellor, administered oath to the office bearers at a ceremony held at DDE Auditorium, here at 3.00 pm.
Mr.Mohammad Faizan (student of MCA), President, Mr. Mustafiz Sharique (M. Tech.), Vice President, Mr. Mohammad Saud (MBA), Secretary; Mr. Mobasshir ul Islam (B.Ed.), Joint Secretary, and Ms. Razia Perween (B.Ed.), Treasurer, along with Executive Members of all Schools and Polytechnic took oath today.
Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, while congratulating new members said that he would try to meet every valid demand of students during his remaining tenure as Vice-Chancellor.
Prof. Najamul Hasan, Chief Returning Officer, presented a brief report about the elections held on 6th September and introduced office bearers. Dr. Shaheen Shaikh, Deputy Dean, DSW conducted the proceedings and Dr. Bonthu Kotaiah, Assistant Dean, DSW proposed vote of thanks. Prof. Shakeel Ahmad, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr. M A Sikandar, Registrar and Prof. Siddiqui Mohammad Mahmood, Dean, Student’s Welfare were also present on the occasion.
