Transport Minister P Ajay Kumar today said that the government of KCR is giving top priority to the welfare of the poor despite revenue loss in the Corona crisis.
He distributed the marriage benefit scheme amount to some beneficiaries in the Khammam district.
The minister offered a total of 151 cheques worth Rs 1.51 Cr to help poor families towards the marriage of their girl children. The minister expressed happiness that he offered marriage benefit scheme amount for the poor.
So far we offered 5336 cheques worth 47.20 cr to the poor under Kalyan Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak schemes.

Like elderly persons and uncles, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is offering seamless services for the poor, farmers, and others. Though Corona pandemic and lockdown timings caused huge loss of revenues to the Government welfare schemes are not stopped he claims.
The KCR government gets credit for such schemes which are only implementing in Telangana state. No other state is giving such benefits to the poor families he maintained.
