Hyderabad: Amjed Ullah Khan (Spokesman) MBT has written a letter to Sri Mohammed Qamaruddin Honble Chairman Telangana State Minorities Commission and Sri Mohammed Saleem Chairman Telangana State Wakf Board and demanded protection of existing two Masjid inside Telangana Secretariat.

Mr. Khan in his letter said that since the vacating of stay by Hon’ble Telangana High Court and Demolition of Old Buildings to pave way for Construction of New Secretariat Complex for Telangana State there have been rumors that the existing two Masjid will be demolished.

Mr. Khan said seeing the past history of anti-muslim policies of the TRS party from non-implementation of 12% promised reservation, killing of five Muslim youths at Aalair, Demolition of Ek Khana Masjid at Amberpet, Demolition of 200 years old Ashoor Khana at Narayanpet, etc.

Mr. Khan said not only this the TRS party also has a past record of supporting BJP in the Centre on every anti-Muslim move.

Secretariat MASJID AMJED ULLAH KHAN

Mr. Khan said It’s a fact that the TRS party has forgotten the sacrifices rendered by Muslims and its organizations during the Telangana movement and Muslim organisations support to it during recently held Assembly & Parliament Elections.

Mr. Khan appealed the Hon’ble Commission to personally visit the site along with Muslim organizations to know the facts about two Masjids.

Mr Khan said TSWAKF Board along with Chairman & Members should visit the site to know the facts about the existence of two Masjids. If they feel that the TRS Govt is hell bound to demolish the said two Masjid’s the Board is an independent body should approach High Court and get a stay on demolition.

Mr Khan also appealed to all parties & religious bodies including AIMIM, Jamat-e-Islami Hind (Telangana) and all those supported TRS parties in Assembly & Parliamentary Elections to meet CM KCR and warn him against the demolition of two Masjid in Secretariat.
