Memorial Lecture to Honor 7th Nizam: Focus on Education and Employment in Telangana

A special memorial lecture is scheduled for 25th September 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in Darbaar Hall at Telangana Mahila Vishwavidyalayam (Koti Women’s College). The event aims to pay tribute to HEH The 7th Nizam Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan Bahadur, a revered figure known for founding Osmania University. This significant occasion is being organized by the Department of Urdu in association with the Nazeer Ahmed Memorial and Educational Trust.

The theme of the lecture will be “Educational Opportunities and Sustainable Employment in Telangana State.Mr. Amir Ali Khan, News Editor of The Siasat Daily, will serve as the keynote speaker and chief guest, sharing valuable insights on the topic. Joining him as a chief guest will be Honorable MLC Prof. M. Kodandaram, who will address the audience on the importance of education in fostering job creation in Telangana.

Presiding over the event will be Professor M. Vijjulatha, Vice Chancellor of Telangana Mahila Vishwavidyalayam. Prof. K. Saraswatamma, Special Officer at TMV, will act as the event’s Patron.

The program is being coordinated by Dr. Syeda Naseem Sultana, Head of the Urdu Department at TMV, who has played a vital role in organizing this event. Following the lecture, attendees will be invited to a luncheon at Esra Hall.
