Minorities Commission officials lauds TMR schools

Hyderabad: Shafiullah, IFS, Secretary Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Instituions Society (TMREIS) today said Prashant Sukul, IDAS, Secretary, National Commission for Minorities, visited TMR School Secunderbad Girls 1 and Sanathnagar Boys 1 today.

Prashant Sukul, addressed the State level district level officers and principals of YMR schools, assembled at TMRS Sanathnagar Boys 1 for the review meeting. During his address, Sukul said he got privileged to visit TMREIS and TMR schools.  He lauded the initiative taken by Government of Telangana for the socio-economic development of Minorities.  He compared the facilities provided to students at TMR schools with Kendriya Vidyalayas.  He was impressed with the range of activities taken up in TMR Schools.

He also said many other States such as West Bengal, Assam and others are coming forward to replicate the TMREIS for establishing Residential Schools for Minorities.  He urged this scheme should be adopted prolifically by other States also.  Not only the Governments, but also private organizations should establish one or two such schools under their banner for the benefit of Minority Communities.

He further said this unique scheme should be adopted prolifically by other States also more particularly by Government of Utter Pradesh from where he belongs. He was impressed with the range of activities implemented in TMR Schools and termed his visit to TMRIES as heartwarming experience and assured all possible help from the commission.
