Hyderabad: The BLF candidate from Goshamahal constituency in the city, Chandramukhi, a transgender, was reported missing since yesterday. Chandramukhi’s mother, who has lodged a complaint with the police yesterday, today approached the High Court, by filing a writ petition praying the court to order that she be presented in the Court.
The High Court, which heard her plea, has issued orders to the Police to produce her in the Court tomorrow at 10.15 am.
It may be mentioned that Chandramukhi was the first transgender to enter the election fray. She is facing BJP nominee Raja Singh, TRS candidate Premsingh Rathod and Congress candidate and former Minister Mukesh goud in Goshamahal constituency.
The BLF supporters alleged that Chandramukhi was abducted by her political rivals.(NSS)
