Vijayawada : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today criticised that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has come to the State only to scold him and ran away from replying on why he failed to help the State government to develop Amaravathi.
Addressing a public meeting after launching the distribution of house sites for flagship one lakh housing facility for the poor program here, Chandrababu Naidu lashed out at Modi for coming to the state only to target the state government. He expressed displeasure saying that the prime minister has just come to make false charges and remarks against the ruling TD Government.
Modi has no response or answer to the queries of the people about the state development. Chandrababu minced no words that Modi is cheating mother Andhra Pradesh by denying funds for welfare or development, while the prime minister made comments that the congress has divided the state like separating mother and child. ‘I have been to Delhi for 29 times for special status, and Polavaram was in the bifurcation Act and the Centre has ignored our repeated pleas’ he fumed.
The TD would have got 15 more seats if it had no truck with the BJP and Modi is targeting us for snapping ties. Modi is targeting me and our state as I earlier sought resignation of Modi when he was the chief minister of Gujrat for massacre of Muslims in the state. The YCP is hand in glove with the BJP for ignoring the cases and it has helped to mobilise people for Modi’s public meeting.
The Centre did not give funds for Amaravathi, the construction of which is the collective responsibility of the state and the centre, he said. Referring to the comments of taking u turn, he said that he has taken right turn and Modi Government has taken a reverse turn on extending support to Amaravathi development. The centre has given 670 awards to the state and criticising us, he objected. Referring to the comments that he had backstabbed NTR and took over the reigns, Chandrababu said that Modi simply insulted his Guru LK Advani by not acknowledging his namaskar.(NSS)
