Modi Should Apologize for Injustice to TS : KTR

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has to tender apologies to the people of Telangana for his insulting comments against statehood, state IT and Municipal  Minister KT Rama Rao demanded.

He took potshots at the prime minister for belittling the sentiment of 4 crore people. The minister took a swipe at the Modi Government for miserably failing to address bifurcation promises.

In the past eight years of BJP rule Modi did not bother about bifurcation issues, he fumed.   The center has been showing partiality towards Telangana state and Modi is envious at its development, KTR opined. The BJP government resorting to cheating tactics as it never looked into bifurcation promises, the minister said. With vengeance, Modi is conspiring against the state’s development and not supporting the state.

KTR asked on Tuesday to address 19 issues the Modi Government deliberately ignored to solve. Our pleas were not looked into by the center including schools, colleges, coach factory, steel factory, national status to one irrigation project, funds for flagship programs, roads, and infrastructure.

 KTR lashed out at the Centre for following the congress by not addressing the issues and demands.

The municipal minister accused the Modi government of negligence towards Telangana state.  Modi’s partial attitude was evident at the inaugural of Ramanujacharya’s equality statute at Muchintal if Chinna Jeeyar Swamy at Shamshabad.

Though Modi preferred to set Telangana aside, our state under the able leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is being developed in all sectors. The TRS Government set a record by spending about Rs 45000 Cr for welfare and Rythu Bandhu got Rs 50000 cr among others.

The BJP government is in power for the second term and ignored the state.  KCR announced the Dalit Bandhu scheme to provide Rs 10 lakh to each scheduled caste family to empower them.

He challenged if the center any plans  Modi should announce similar programs for Dalits. KTR slammed the BJP government for offering 7 mandals to AP post bifurcation.  He flayed that Modi Government Comments in the parliament as undemocratic as centre failed to implement bifurcation promises so far. The Centre which is indulging in cheating people, farmers, and women will face more protests.  Narendra Modi’s government is against the farmers and people. Telangana state sought projects, institutions and funds from the center, and no response from it, he lamented.

KTR attributed Modi’s denial of Rs 24,000 Cr recommended by the Niti Ayog committee for mission bhagiratha and mission kakatiya schemes to no avail. He expressed concern that the Modi government denied funds, Navodaya schools, medical colleges,  and projects to Telangana. The BJP government should offer national status to any irrigation project, besides an ITIR, steel factory, coach factory to the state, he charged.
