MP Nama Nageswara Rao reacts on ED Raids

The ruling TRS party MP Nama Nageswara Rao today responded to the raids conducted by Enforcement Directorate (ED) on his companies recently. He said that the people of the state were aware of him completely and added that he always tried to be honest in his public life.

Speaking to media persons he said that CM KCR had made him the TRS Parliamentary party leader and added that he would continue to work hard to keep the faith of the CM intact. He also made it clear that he would stand by the CM notwithstanding the difficulties he is facing.

He said that KCR was his strength and the people of his constituency were his team. Commenting on his company, he said that he had established the company 40 years back and added that completed several prestigious projects successfully.

He said that his company had completed Mumbai to Mangalore project and laid roads on Chinese borders. Rao said that his brothers were looking after his company as he is in politics. He said that Ranchi Expressway and SPV BOT project was started with 30 percent equity in the year 2011. He said that the NHAI should hand over 80 percent of the land after the execution of the agreement and 100 percent of the land within 90 days of the agreement.

He said that NHAI had failed to hand over land to their company even after seven years of the agreement. He said that they competed for 60 percent of the works as per the availability of the site and added that only 10 percent of the work was pending. Nama said that he would appear before the ED on the 25th  of this month in the same Case and added that he would extend all kinds of cooperation to the ED.
