Sangareddy: A man was allegedly butchered in broad daylight on the Patencheru National Highway in Sangareddy district on Friday. The man was hacked to death on the Highway in Rudraram village amidst the heavy traffic on the road. The entire sequence of events was captured on camera.
As per the video, the attacker rained several blows on the victim’s body as a crowd gathered at the scene. After the crime, the accused absconded on a motorbike with his suspected accomplice. The deceased has been identified as Mehboob, a resident of Musheerabad. The deceased was found guilty of murder in Lakdaram village some five months ago.
Those who murdered Mahmood are suspected to be criminals. The police, who were alerted of the incident reached the spot and launched investigation. The police are investigating whether there were any existing feuds between the victim and the accused. A case has been registered and the probe into the murder is ongoing. (NSS)
