Hyderabad: In another jolt to the BJP in the State, former MLA Nandishwar Goud tendered his resignation to the party and made arrangements to join the Congress party soon.
Talking to mediapersons here today, Nandishwar Goud announced he has tendered his resignation to the BJP. Immediately after his resignation to the BJP, Nandishwar Goud met TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy, K Jana Reddy and Mohammed Ali Shabbir.
According to informed sources, Nandishwar Goud will join Congress officially on Sunday or Monday. Nandishwar’s joining was confirmed as the Congress party has given clarity to Nandishwar on Patancheru ticket.
It may be mentioned here that another BJP senior leader DK Samarasimha Reddy joined the Congress on Friday by tendering resignation to the BJP. (NSS)
