Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming magnum opus and historic film “Saira Narasimha Reddy” has been hit by a controversy. The family members of Uyyalavada Narsimha Reddy on Sunday staged a dharna in front of the office of the producer of the movie Ram Charan Teja demanding promised compensation to them.
They alleged that the producer of the movie didn’t give them the honorarium as promised. They also said the film makers had executed an agreement with them stating that they would pay the compensation amount on June 30. However, when the family members demanded compensation amount, the film makers ignored their demand.
They alleged that the film makers had not only used their properties free of cost to shoot the movie, but also completely tweaked the actual life story of Narsimha Reddy. The family members also raised slogans against the movie makers. Producer Ram Charan was not present when dharna was staged. However, Ram Charan’s The manager held discussions with the family members of Uyyalawada Narsimha Reddy and convinced them to withdraw the protest with a promise to make the payment soon. (NSS)
