NATO Offers Quick Membership To Finland, Sweden

As per the latest reports, the applications by Finland and Sweden to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will be handled rapidly should the Scandinavian nations decide to do as such, the tactical collusion’s Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, said.

“Assuming they choose to apply, Finland and Sweden will be greeted wholeheartedly to NATO. Finland and Sweden are our nearest accomplices,” Stoltenberg told journalists on Thursday at the European Parliament in Brussels.

Both Finland and Sweden have long sought after an arrangement of military non-arrangement. After the deterioration of the Soviet Union, NATO has neglected to prevail upon the two nations a few times. However, the two nations have rolled out certain improvements in their situations in face of the Russia-Ukraine struggle, conveying weapons and ammo to Ukraine.
