New Quadrant Resource office comes up in Hyderabad

Quadrant Resource, a provider of various IT services, opened its Global Delivery Center (GDC) on Thursday at Raheja Mindspace in Madhapur. Quadrant specializes in cloud, data and analytics, business intelligence, quality testing, AI and machine learning, application development, and other services.

IT and Industries Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan said at the inauguration of the 22,000 sqft GDC that IT companies are now focusing on product development as well as services. He says that IT product companies are gaining traction and that the difference is visible.

“Your progress in Indian operations in the last seven years is remarkable. We appreciate your presence in Warangal. The IT industry is concentrated in Hyderabad, which is an important technological hub globally. It must also spread to tier-II cities. Your moving to Warangal gave confidence to other large IT companies. We now have about a half dozen IT Companies that have already set up their presence or planning to do shortly,” he said, adding that mid-sized businesses play an important role in the IT ecosystem.

Many businesses are struggling to migrate to the cloud, which represents a huge opportunity for the company.

“I am pleased to note that many of your employees have begun working from an office on a rotating basis. Please encourage more people to work from home. Collaborative working is enjoyable. It is now safe to work from the office. Working from home may have had some advantages, but there is no substitute for working from an office,” Ranjan stated.

Quadrant was founded in 2004 by Ram Paluri, Vamsi Reddy, and Bhaskar Gangipamula and is headquartered in Redmond. In 2017, it expanded to India and established a Global Delivery Centre in Madhapur. It has offices in Chennai, Bengaluru, and Warangal. It currently employs 3,000 people across all of its locations, with roughly half of them based in India. It intends to hire 800 people in India.

Its Warangal center is being prepared and will be operational by the end of March. Among those present were TSIC Chief Innovation Officer Dr Shanta Thoutham, Chief Relations Officer Amarnath Reddy Atmakuri, IT Investments CEO Vijay Rangineni.
