In a major step toward digital transformation in religious services, the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched a new smart portal designed to enrich the digital and spiritual experience of pilgrims during the Haj season.
The initiative, announced as Saudi Arabia prepares to host millions of pilgrims, offers a comprehensive and simplified collection of Islamic content tailored to the needs of pilgrims, Umrah performers, and general visitors to the Grand Mosque, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The portal is described as a fully integrated faith-based digital platform — the first of its kind — offering religious and enrichment services in multiple languages. It includes features such as prayer time displays, notifications about imams and muezzins, and schedules of religious lessons, including their locations within the mosque premises.

Developed under the leadership of Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, the platform is built with interactive navigation tools, live chat capabilities for instant responses to religious inquiries, and smart maps to help visitors easily locate services and lessons.
“It is an innovative, globally accessible, and highly regulated portal that aligns with the Kingdom’s efforts to enhance the experience of every pilgrim,” said Al-Sudais.
The platform also includes guidance on prayer, ablution, and Islamic terminology, further simplifying the experience for first-time or non-Arabic-speaking pilgrims. It can be accessed through: https://services.prh.gov.sa
In a related development, the Presidency also unveiled the second version of the Manarat Al-Haramain AI-powered robot, which connects pilgrims to muftis for live video consultations, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s commitment to integrating technology with spiritual support.
These initiatives reflect the Kingdom’s vision to modernize religious services while maintaining the sanctity and authenticity of the Islamic experience.
