Hyderabad: The National Green Tribunal (NGT) Chennai has formed a committee to look over the issues of the demolition of old buildings of the Telangana Secretariat.
The green panel today heard the petition of the T.Congress MP Revanth Reddy and set up a committee to look over the impact of the demolitions of old buildings on the environment. The tribunal directed to submit the report within two weeks.
The panel has included Union Ministry of Environment, Pollution control board, IIT Hyd, Telangana pollution control board into the committee, and directed it to initiate the steps according to the orders. The next hearing is posted on 25th Sep.
