Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, IPS, has issued P.D. Orders against Shaik Wajeed alias Abbu, a rowdy element of Reinbazar Police Station on November 17.
The CP said Shaik Wajeed, 25, autorickshaw driver, of Barkas, had committed offences of hurt and extortion under Hyderabad Police Commissionerate limits. The accused has been creating panic among the general public and disturbing peace, tranquillity and social harmony in the society.
The Reinbazar Police arrested Shaik Wajeed on August 29 and remanded to judicial custody. The order under PD Act was executed on him on November 19 and was lodged in Chanchalguda Central Jail. (NSS)
