Hyderabad: On a tip-off that two electronic shop owners were selling duplicate products of smart TVs by installing program installation software and labeling them as multi-branded company like SONY, LG, SAMSUNG, AIWA & TOSHIBA to innocent customers, the Jeedimetla police, along with the SOT of Balanagar Zone raided Mahashakthi Electronics and N. H Electronics at Shapur Nagar market on Sunday evening and seized 154 duplicate LED Televisions Rs 46.20 lakh from the shops at Shapur Nagar, Jeedimetla and Qutbullapur.
The police arrested Balamurugan Subramaniyan alias Balu, 39, of Krishnamurthy Nagar.
