Hyderabad: The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) 2019 examinations today began online across the two Telugu States. First phase of EAMCET-2019 commenced in Telangana State as well as in Andhra Pradesh this morning from 9 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm.
According to the information, the officials made all arrangements for the online examinations. While Telangana Government set up 83 examination centers in 15 towns with all facilities, Andhra Pradesh government made similar arrangements at 11 centers for examinations in Vijayawada, Tirupati and Visakhapatnam respectively.
In addition to adequate online arrangements, the officials have taken security measures too. As usual, the one-minute rule was imposed at all the examination centers that put students on tenterhooks. This time the Eamcet-2019 examinations were being conducted in three phases, including second phase on May 4 and 6 and third phase on May 8 and 9 respectively.
The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad, which was conducting the test, said over 2.17 lakh students have registered for the EAMCET-2019. (NSS)
