Hyderabad : Prof. S. A. Shukoor, Special Officer Telangana State Haj Committee announced that facility for filling up and submitting the Haj Applications Online would be extended to all the aspiring Haj Applicants at the district level. Addressing a meeting of the representatives of the District Haj Societies at Haj House, he said that to the aspiring Haj applicants at haj House, Nampally, Hyderabad from Tuesday 23rd October, onwards. Addressing a Media conference here today he said that on the request of the Chairman sri Mohammed Masiullah Khan this facility would be extended to the aspiring pilgrims on all working days between 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Eight to ten computers would be commissioned for the service including two lady operators for the convenience of lady applicants, he said.
He further said that this year five applicants could file their applications in a single cover and that they should possess valid Machine readable International Passports issued before 17th November 2018 and valid till 31st January 2020. Last date for submission of Haj application forms is 17th November, 2018.
Applicants of 70 years or above would be selected along with a companion of blood relation would be selected without Qurrah (Draw of Lots), they said. Four to five ladies above 45 years of age can submit the applications without Mehram )The male companion).
The HAF could be filled up and submitted on the website www.hajcommittee.gov.in and a hard copy along with necessary documents, copy of the passport, cancelled cheque, a colour passport size photograph and details of nominee with all required signatures should be submitted in the office of the Telangana State Haj Committee, he said.
