Undermining the demonstrations of Muslim women and girls in favour of Hijab in Karnataka, Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that, “Muslim women and girls across the nation are openly expressing deep gratitude over BJP’s measures to empower them especially the move to introduce ‘Triple Talaq Law’ in the country.
In a subtle attack on Congress, MIM and other parties championing the cause of Muslims cause without naming them while addressing a public gathering at Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh today, he said, “The ‘Triple Talaq Law’ introduced by the BJP has well received by the Muslim women. They came out openly praising the BJP government’s decision and expressed their gratitude by uploading videos. They thanked the BJP for granting them the dignity they never got before. However, this has not gone well with parties always playing vote bank politics.”
The BJP’s move, he said, takes these parties by surprise who later realise that their own women and sisters are started chanting Modi’s name for bringing triple talaq law into life.

“After coming across the videos of Muslim women and girls praising Modi government, these so-called champions of Muslim cause have started spreading miss information against measures aimed at making Muslim women more empower,” he argued.
Eschewing any mention of how the Muslim women and girls are holding demonstrations in Karnataka against his government’s attitude against students wearing Hajib in educational institutions, the Modi said, “Realising the growing popularity of Modi among the Muslim women will put the male dominating society into jeopardy, they started misleading campaign and are trying to counter all the measures being brought by the BJP government to uplift the Muslim women that would allow them fly high in the world of freedom.”
Clapping Back at Prime Minister Modi for his hateful yoke against Muslim community, Syed Aziz Pasha, Ex-Member Rajya Sabha said “Though PM Modi often seen advocating the rights of Muslim women – using the false narrative of exploitations mainly propagated by some state-sponsored media houses, his own house is empty of such order and demeanour.”
Osman Alhajri, the senior Congress Leader said, “PM Modi, who is living without his wife for years and having no children to enjoy the fullness of life under a family-hood system of a predominant civilised society, has frequently seen preaching the Muslim community about how to run the family and respect the women by upholding their rights. His narratives are just like pot calling the kettle black.”
