New Delhi: Stating that they introduced no trust motion against BJP led NDA government with very much clarity that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government has strength in the Parliament, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu described the no-trust motion as the fight between the ‘majority’ and ‘morality’. He said the TDP was the party introduced no-trust motion in Parliament after 15 long years and hoped that the Modi government would extend its cooperation in doing justice to the people of Andhra Pradesh State at least now onwards.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Chandrababu said the Centre failed to create confidence among the people by neglecting the implementation of assurances given to the people of the Andhra Pradesh State in Division Act. He said that he asked the Centre several times to implement the assurances given by Modi in Tirupati and Nellore. But Modi made to believe him by saying that the Andhra Pradesh capital city to be constructed better than Delhi city.
“Modi forgot his assurance given at Tirupati witnessing Lord Venkateshwara. He alleged that the Centre failed to implement a single assurance mentioned in the Division Act. “We tried hard to get funds from the Centre in vain. We came out from the Modi government after losing patience”, he stated.
Alleging that it was false that the 14th Finance Commission recommend that not to give special status to centre and Finance Commission member T Govindarao was disclosed that they didn’t recommend such thing, Chandrababu said that the Andhra Pradesh state experienced severe loss due to the division of the state and making allegations when asked assistance. The centre stated that no special status to any state but given special status to 11 states, he pointed out. “We are waging moral fight against the centre’s betrayal, conspiracy politics. We will continue our fight till state gets justice”, he stressed.
“The Prime Minister stated that we fell in the trap of YSRCP. I never commit any mistake. Modi said that we entered into friction with Telangana state. Modi criticised me saying that KCR is behaving with maturity. Modi also criticised me saying that TDP compromised with corrupt political party. TPD MPs were in Parliament were YSRCP Chief was in Court on July 20. How Modi could talk in that manner while being in responsible position. Modi says that he will see the end of the corruption but the same Modi gives tickets to corrupt Gali Janardhan Reddy. I never took U-turn.
