Hyderabad: Former MP B Vinod Kumar today admitted that the TRS faced debacle in the LS polls with over confidence.
Talking to mediapersons at Karimnagar here today, Vinod said the over confidence during the polls has rendered loss to the ruling party. Vinod Kumar lost the LS seat from his home segment, has admitted that Modi wave has got support from the people to BJP to win the polls. Terror strikes launched by Modi Government also fetched the BJP votes as people favored Narendra Modi as Prime Minister. He also reasoned that 90 per cent of new voters attracted towards Modi leadership and voted for the BJP.
The people reportedly not bothered about corruption, unemployment, issues of poor and price hike supported BJP-led government for surgical strike followed by Pulwama attack that claimed the lives of 42 CRPF jawans. Political analysts put it that the people favoured BJP regime despite the problems and issues that daunted the nation. “We have to respect people’s verdict”, he said. The former MP also said he will work for the segment development though he was defeated. (NSS)
