Owaisi expresses shock over CBI court verdict on Babri mosque demolition

Hyderabad: Hyderabad MP and the president of AIMIM party Asaduddin Owaisi today expressed his shock over the verdict of the CBI Special court in the Babri mosque demolition case by declaring veteran BJP leaders and key accused in the case like  LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, and Uma Bharati as innocent.

He wondered if the historic mosque was fallen on its own if all the accused were innocent. He said that the whole world had watched the people who demolished the mosque. He said that One of the accused in the case Uma Bharati had made slogans urging the kar sevaks to demolish the mosque. He advised the CBI to appeal against the verdict in the high court

Owaisi said that one of the accused in the case Uma Bharati had made slogans urging the kar sevaks to demolition the  Babri mosque. He advised the CBI to appeal against the verdict in the high court. He made these remarks while responding to the verdict of the special court.

The judge of court SK Yadav had made it clear that there was no conspiracy behind the Babri demolition of the court and added that there was no evidence to support the allegations of the conspiracy. The judge had read out a 2000 page judgment.

He also declared 32 accused in the case including the top BJP leaders as innocent in the case. The verdict was delivered after 28 years of the incident. Of all the accused 26 have attended the court and the remaining people attended it through video conference.
