In the latest update, the Taliban has taken over the control of Kabul. Following this, a delegation of the Afghan political leadership has arrived in Islamabad.
Pakistan Extends Assistance To Facilitate The Diplomatic Community
As per the latest reports, Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan Mohammad Sadiq took to Twitter to confirm that the high level Afghan political leadership delegation including Speaker Wolesi Jirga Mir Rehman Rehmani, Salahud din Rabbani, Mohammad Yunus Qanooni, Ustad Mohammad Karim Khalili, Ahmad Zia Massoud, Ahmad Wali Massoud, Abdul Latif Pedram, and Khalid Noor have arrived in Pakistan.
He further confirmed that they would be discussing matters of mutual interest during the visit.

Meanwhile, the Foreign Office spokesperson informed the media that they closely following the situation in Afghanistan. Furthermore, they will be providing assistance to facilitate visa or arrival of the diplomatic community, media and others.
Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, Foreign Office spokesperson said in a statement that the Pakistan embassy in Kabul is extending necessary assistance to the Pakistanis in Afghanistan. Along with the Afghan nationals and the diplomatic and international community with the consular work and coordination of the PIA flights.
Pakistan Stands With The International Community In Afghanistan Conflict
In another update, a special inter-ministerial cell has already established in the Ministry of Interior to facilitate in the matters of visa/arrival for the diplomatic personnel, UN agencies, international organisations, media, and others.
The spokesperson said Pakistan will continue to support efforts for political settlement. Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Foreign Minister said that Pakistan stands with the international community in wanting a solution for the Afghanistan conflict and negotiate for political settlement.

This comes after, Taliban completed the capture of the capital Kabul and shocking videos from the country took over the internet. The videos showed panic-stricken people desperately trying to leave the country.
It showed a huge crowd running towards the aircraft.
