Hyderabad: The State government has taken a serious note of the Bio-diversity flyover accident near Gachibowli in which a woman was killed.
Municipal & IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao today took stock of the incident that invited criticism from political parties and people. He formed a committee under chief engineer Sridhar and Lee Associates Private Limited Company to conduct a study and submit a report. The committee will be on the job to checkmate the accidents, correct design, structure on the route and the flyover with the needed repairs and structural changes.
KTR has asked the officials concerned to submit a report for taking necessary steps on the incident. The GHMC has announced Rs 5 lakh ex gratia to kin of the accident victim. One Sathyaveni of Manikonda, 56, died in the accident that uprooted a tree on Saturday.
