People’s pulse in TRS favour: Narsaiah Goud

Hyderabad : TRS MP Dr B Narsaiah Goud today said the atmosphere at field level was favorable for the ruling party as every household in the State got benefit through either welfare schemes or development programs. Talking to mediapersons here today, the TRS MP said since welfare and development are key  factors and the State government spent huge funds towards this end, the people will repose faith in the ruling party and vote for it in the ensuing polls, the MP hoped. The TRS will retain power even if 30 per cent of people, who have benefited through the schemes, participated in the polls and exercise their franchise.

After dissolution of the Assembly, there are 14 MPs in the party, who have to shoulder the responsibility to ensure party victory in the polls, he said, adding that the MPs have to take care of winning the Assembly segments fall under their Parliamentary constituencies. TRS president and Caretaker Chief Minister KCR was holding a meeting with party candidates and other leaders on poll strategy and campaigning to ensure victory, he said.

The entire poll scenario in the State will change if KCR gets down for campaigning in other districts in favour of the ruling party, he said. In the meeting at Telangana Bhavan, KCR directed the leaders to woo the people in favour of the ruling party, he said. He also said the TRS chief will take feedback from the local leaders and MLAs and come out with poll strategy to benefit in the polls.

The leaders will be instructed to coordinate with the local leaders and activists for the future campaigns and address the related issues. Having got reports on the leaders’ functioning and taking up the schemes to the people doorsteps, KCR will guide them to reach out to the poor and unreached, Narsaiah Goud added. (NSS)
