Hyderabad: A CISF Assistant Sub-Inspector Satyajeet Balyan detected two packets of gold powder weighing approximately 478 gm from a passenger at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad here on Saturday.
While frisking the flyer through hand held metal detector (HHMD), a beep sound was noticed. Balyan questioned the passenger Nariyalwala Muhammadsaad Muhammadsuhel, who was about to board a Mumbai-bound flight SG 420 at 7.40 am and found gold powder. The passenger arrived from Dubai by flight AI 952 at 5.40 am. After questioning, the passenger along with the gold powder was handed over to the Customs officials. (NSS)
