In a heartwarming incident on the Gadwal-Wanaparthy route in Telangana, a pregnant woman unexpectedly went into labor while traveling on a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) bus. Thanks to the quick thinking and compassionate actions of the bus conductor and a fellow passenger, the woman safely gave birth to a baby girl on board.
The incident occurred on Monday morning as Sandhya, a resident of Gadwal, was on her way to Wanaparthy to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with her brothers. She was traveling on a Palle Velugu bus when, as the vehicle reached Nachahalli, she suddenly began experiencing labor pains.
Recognizing the gravity of the situation, G Bharati, the bus conductor, immediately alerted the driver and instructed him to stop the bus. Bharati, along with a nurse who happened to be traveling on the same bus, quickly came to Sandhya’s aid. Their timely assistance allowed Sandhya to deliver a healthy baby girl on board the bus.
