Hyderabad: Private medical colleges and Satvahana University are setting up isolation wards in Karimnagar Dist to provide COVID treatment to the affected persons, besides the government hospital at the district headquarters.
There are a hundred beds available at the government district hospital while Satvahana University created a facility with 400 beds and Prathima Medical College created 50-bed facility.
It has also set up 25 oxygen beds and 27 ICU beds to provide 24 hrs medical assistance to COVID patients.
Meanwhile, people, businesses, and trade entities are voluntarily observing lockdown especially in Huzurbad, Jammikunta Karimnagar City due to increasing COVID cases in the Dist.
