Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra takes a break in Telangana on Friday

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ will take a break on Friday and resume on Saturday from Medak, Telangana.

“BharatJodoYatra will take a day’s break on 4th November. We begin afresh from Medak, Telangana on 5th Nov,” the Bharat Jodo’s official Twitter handle said.

On November 7, the yatra will cover 19 assembly and seven parliamentary constituencies in Telangana, covering a distance of 375 km.

During the party campaign in the southern state, the Wayanad MP has met intellectuals, business leaders, and entertainment personalities.

On September 7, the Bharat Jodo Yatra commenced in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu.

The marathon walk was completed by Rahul Gandhi in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka before he began the Telangana leg of his yatra last week. A total of ten special committees have been formed by the Telangana State Congress in order to coordinate the yatra.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra arrived in Telangana from Karnataka on October 23. It resumed on October 26 after a three-day hiatus for Diwali and the swearing-in of new Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.

With a day off on November 4, the Yatra will continue in Telangana until November 7.

Before entering Maharashtra on November 7, it would pass through 19 Assembly and 7 Parliamentary seats covering a total of 375 kilometers in the state.

On September 7, the Bharat Jodo Yatra kicked off in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. Before starting the Telangana part of the yatra, Gandhi finished the marathon walk in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka.

The Congress’ decision to challenge the Narendra Modi government in the upcoming 2024 elections is being seen as a “masterstroke.”

According to Congress, they launched this movement to unite the country against the alleged “divisive politics” of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government in New Delhi.
