Bhainsa : AICC chief Rahul Gandhi today alleged that only caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s family was benefited in TRS party rule in Telangana state. Rahul Gandhi charged both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and KCR with deceiving the people with utter lies.
Speaking at the Congress party election campaign meeting here Saturday afternoon, Rahul launched a blistering tirade against KCR and Modi, alleging that KCR has changed the name of Ambedkar irrigation project as Kaleswaram project, forgetting the fact that the nation was remembering the name of Ambedkar. KCR was totally opposed to the name of Dr Ambedkar He claimed that KCR enhanced the expenditure of the projects in the name of redesign.
He called upon the people to defeat KCR, who was encouraging the corrupt people. Modi and KCR failed to concentrate on the suicides of the farmers in Telangana state, he lamented. He assured that the Congress party would waive off Rs.2 lakh bank loans of farmers immediately after coming to power in the state. Reminding that the then UPA government brought an Act for the protection of tribal people, Rahul Gandhi pulled up KCR questioning the latter to tell whether he provided water to every household and whether he provided 12 percent reservation to Muslims.
Targeting Modi, Rahul Gandhi questioned whether he deposited RS.15 lakh in the accounts of the people, as promised, and whether youth had got two crore jobs?. He said that Modi was not a watchdog of the people, but he was a security guard for Anil Ambani, Vijay Mallya and Lalith Modi and alleged that Modi indulged in huge loot through Rafale scam. Modi looted the poor to benefit Ambani. Modi gave Rs.30,000 crore free gift to Anil Ambani, he alleged.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi, who came to Nanded by special flight, reached Bhainsa through helicopter from Nanded along with TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Telangana state Congress party affairs in-charge RC Kuntia, who reached Nanded through helicopter from Hyderabad to receive Rahul Gandhi. (NSS)
