Hyderabad: Congress leader Revanth Reddy today filed a complaint to Election Commission that the TRS leadership is violating poll code norms and raids on caretaker chif minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, his relatives and residences of ministers to unearth crores of money. KCR and team is distributing crores from Pragathi Bhavan and IT wing has to conduct raids to prevent the same from luring people he said.
He complained that entire media and newspapers and Television channels giving 90 per cent undue coverage to the ruling party and ignoring the opposition parties which is violation of poll code and democracy. Talking to press persons after filing a complaint with CEO Rajat Kumar, Revanth sought the EC and Income tax wing to conduct raids on KCR and family members as they are distributing crores to lure people.
The officials are ignoring the ruling party leaders and harassing the Opposition leaders despite EC orders against them, he charged. The congress alliance on coming to power will take serious action against such official doing favour to the ruling party he warned.
DGP was helping the ruling party and retired officer Venugopal Rao was appointed for the purpose and police tapping our phones he alleged. KCR rule is like feudal Nizam rule he charged. We have complained against the pink ballots and the EC is to take action he added. (NSS)
