Rajgopal claims Nalgonda Congress leader will be next CM

Bhongir: Stating that second chief minister of the State would be from the old Nalgonda district, Congress MLC Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy today exuded confidence that the Congress would sweep the 2019 elections and return to power.

Speaking at Bhongir Parliamentary level Congress party review meeting here today, Rajagopal Reddy asserted there were no differences among the Congress leaders. He alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao came to power by cheating unemployed youth and students. “KCR would benefit if the Congress leaders indulged in internal-fighting with each other. Anybody can become Chief Minister in the Congress party unlike in the TRS. He observed that IT Minister KT Ramarao or Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao or KCR’s family members would become Chief Minister if the TRS sweeps the elections.

Rajagopal Reddy said the Congress activists proved their strength by making him an MLC sending shockwaves to the Chief Minister. He said the Telangana people were looking towards Nalgonda district leadership. The goal of the Congress leaders was to ensure victory of the Congress in 2019 elections, he added.
