In the latest update, the trustees of Ram Mandir are facing a police complaint. The complaint has been filed by Mahant Dharam Das, the seer of Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya.
Das Accuses Ram Mandir Trustees of Criminal Conspiracy
Mahant Dharam Das, the diviner of Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya, has filed a police complaint against Ram Mandir Trust secretary Champat Rai, all trustees, MLA Deep Narayan Upadhyay, Ayodhya city hall leader’s nephew Rishikesh Upadhyay and sub-recorder of Faizabad tehsil for the criminal trick, extortion and abusing the assets given by the devotees of Lord Ram in purchasing Nazul land.
Dharam Das is the devotee of the late Mahant Ram Abhiram Das, who had purportedly positioned the icons inside the contested construction on December 22 12 PM in 1949.
Das, who is said to be the face of the Ram Mandir movement and one of the principal prosecutors from the Hindu side in the Ram Janmabhoomi title suit, held up the protest at Ram Janmabhoomi police headquarters.
He has blamed the individuals for temple trust of criminal conspiracies, misrepresentation, and abuse of assets given for Ram sanctuary development. Das has additionally named Faizabad sub-recorder S.B. Singh as charged.
Das Refutes Government’s Involvement In The Temple Construction
Speaking to the media he said that Mahant Devendra Prasadacharya had offered this plot of 676 square meters to Deep Narayan, nephew of Ayodhya city hall leader Rishikesh Upadhyay, for Rs 20 lakh in February. Narayan offered it to the trust for Rs 2.5 crore in May. The worth of this land, according to DM circle rate, is around Rs 35 lakh.
He likewise named BJP MLA from Gosaiganj (Ayodhya) Indra Pratap Tiwari and trustee Anil Mishra for being observers in the arrangement. He requested the termination of Rai as secretary and giving over liabilities of the trust to soothsayers of Ayodhya.
He further said that the government should not get involved in the construction of the temple.
While none of the trustees were able to remark on the turn of events, Prakash Gupta, the responsible for camp office, said, “In case it is Nazul land, protest ought to have been documented with Nazul officials, not police. We purchased land and paid cash – where is debasement in this?”
