Ranadeer Reddy clarifies no role in Revanth’s case

Hyderabad: Principal accused in the “Vote for Note” case and TPCC working president A Revanth Reddy’s friend Uday Simha’s relative Ranadeer Reddy today made it clear that he has no links with the case and the IT raids were held in Revanth Reddy’s residences.

Ranadeer Reddy said Uday Simha gave him one hard disc and a bank locker key stating that he was vacating the residence he was staying and informed that the police seized the hard disc and bank locker key during IT raids at his residence two days ago.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Ranadeer Reddy said he answered all the questions shot by police. He said the police issued notices asking him to appear before them after three days. He said Uday Simha was a family friend and he didn’t know in which case the police took him away. He also said the police assured him that they will return the cash and gold taken by the police during raids.

It has come to light that the task force police conducted raids on Ranadeer Reddy’s residence. The task force police, who conducted raids, claimed they were IT officials on Sunday night at his residence located at Nagole Jaipuri Colony, left him at his residence on Monday midnight amidst dramatic developments. The police took Ranadeer, Sebastian and Kondal Reddy to interrogate them. The police took Rs 2 lakh and a cell phone away along with them. (NSS)
