Ravula resents NBW against Chandrababu by Maha govt

Hyderabad: Telangana TDP politburo member Ravula Chadrasekhar Reddy today criticised Maharashtra government for issuing a non-bailable warrant against AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking to the media at NTR trust bhavan here today, Ravula said there was a conspiracy behind the issue of a non-bailable warrant against Chandrababu Naidu after nine years when it was said there were no cases against Naidu. He also said it was for the first time in the history of the country that a non-bailable warrant was issued against a chief minister and demanded that the Maharashtra government immediately withdraw the case. “It was unfortunate to issue a warrant without giving summons”, the TDP leader said the case was filed deliberately when people’s representatives went to raise people’s problems.

Ravula asked the Centre and Telangana government to respond on this issue. (NSS)
