Telangana Government is ready to supply more power as per growing demands according to Transco CMD Devulapally Prabhakar Rao. The state has surpassed an all-time peak demand of 13668 MW and the officials are focusing on catering to future requirements of power.
Rao informed that the all-time demand for power supply is raised in the state and we are able to address the demand and supply issue. He further informed that the power utilities surpassed 13668 MW peak demand.
The power supply-demand last year was put at 13,168 MW and this time increased to some extent he said. We are able to give 5000 MW more power to the farm sector like no other state in the country, Prabhakar Rao said.

This can be attributed to the foresight of the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, he said adding that there is no interruption to the power supply.
Despite growing demand, the officials of the power department are ready to cater to the needs he maintained. As per directions of Chief Minister we will supply more power, he said.
K Chandrasekhar Rao is for providing more power supply to industries, farm sectors, and others. With his foresight we are able to produce and supply more power as per demand, he maintained.

Another official Raghuma Reddy said that they are ready to supply 3000 MW in GHMC purview. There was demand for1700 MW power in the GHMC last year and it increased to 2760 now and will give more, he added.
