Hyderabad: Re-polling will be conducted at five problematic areas of segments in state, according to Andhra Pradesh on May 6, CEO Gopala Krishna Dwivedi. He told media persons in Amaravathi that the re-polling will begin at 7 am and end at 6 pm. Since the polling stations were found to be problematic extra forces are being deployed for smooth polls he said. Dwivedi also said that the election commission has taken steps for elaborate arrangements for fair and peaceful polls. The CEO said that EVMs and VVPATs are ready for the polling to be assisted by BEL engineers. The Election Commission will monitor closely the electioneering through CC Cameras in all polling stations.
The polling stations to have re-polling include Nalla Cheruvu 244 booth in Guntur west segment, Kesanapally 94 booth in Narasaropet segment, Erragondapalem Kalanutala booth, Nellore district and Isukapally and Pallepalem and Atakanitippa respectively. (NSS)
