Hyderabad: Congress party MP from Malkajgiri Seat A. Revanth Reddy today blamed media for the defeat of the Congress party in the just concluded GHMC elections. He alleged that the media had not played a responsible role in the elections. He also alleged that the Media had acted in a unilateral manner in the urban local body elections.
Addressing media persons, he made it clear that the residents of GHMC were not responsible for the defeat of the party but the media. He alleged that the ruling TRS party and opposition BJP had managed the media with their money power. He said that right from prime minister narendra Modi to the chief minister of the state KCR campaigned for their political parties. He thanked the party leaders and activists for standing by the party during its trying times. (NSS)
