TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy today demanded that the State government immediately remove sage Tridandi China Jeeyar Swami from the post of adviser to Yadadri temple for making insulting remarks against famous tribal deities Sammakka and Sarakka.
The TPCC leaders told the State government that it was not proper to continue China Jeeyar in the post of the advisor after insulting the two tribal deities. He made it clear that both Sammakka and Sarakka were symbol of Telangana culture and courage. He said China Jeeyar has attacked the beliefs of the people of the State with his comments.

Revanth Reddy said China Jeeya Swami made the comments on his official twitter handle and tagged CMO to his tweet. The comments made by China Jeeyar Swami on Sammakka and Sarakka went viral on social media recently. Several tribal organizations and political parties demanded that China Jeeyar tender apologies on the issue.
