The Congress party MP from the state A. Revanth Reddy today wrote an open letter to Chief Minister KCR and demanded him to provide MSP to the farmers of the state. Revanth Reddy also demanded the CM to set up food grains procurement centers in all the villages of the state to buy the produce from the farmers. He warned the CM that the congress party would hold farmers’ protest programs for the fulfillment of their demands.

In his letter, Revanth Reddy said that 60 lakh farmers of the state had cultivated various crops in their fields. Revanth Reddy said that the CM had the responsibility to provide the MSP to the farmers. He alleged that the CM was trying to do injustice to the farmers of the state to win praise from the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi. Revanth Reddy made it clear that even the Modi government had taken a back step on the issue after fearing the farmers of the state and promised the farmers that it would halt the implementation of the controversial laws for one and half years. He said that even the BJP ruled states were not interested to implement the laws.
