Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner & District Election Officer M. Dana Kishore has inspected several areas under Khairtabad Zone with regard to Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls in some of the polling booths. During the inspection, he instructed the BLOs and other supervisory officers to be available at the concerned Polling booths failing which severe action will be initiated against them as per RP Act.
The DEO found BLO A. Nagesh absent and directed the ERO concerned to initiate action against the official. He also directed the BLOs and supervisory officers to keep all necessary application forms like Form No. 6, 7 and so on with all the relevant information for inclusions, deletions in the electoral rolls. He also said the courts will also not interfere in the matters with regard to action taken against the erring staff during election process for which every BLO, supervisory officer must strictly follow the instructions.
