The Royal Mint will release a limited commemorative £5 coin on July 22 to celebrate Prince George’s fifth birthday.
Dated 2018, the sterling silver coin features a dramatic image of St. George, the prince’s namesake and England’s patron saint, battling with a dragon. As the legend goes, St. George tamed and killed a dragon that had been tormenting villagers near his home.

Interestingly, the coin is a part of Royal Mint’s ‘The Progress of a Prince’ series, which happens to track down the young prince’s significant achievements.
Previously, a coin was issued to celebrate the prince’s second birthday.
